Discernment through the riches of our charisms; the call to be the prophetic voice throughout the Church
Purpose
For participants to enter a discernment process with other leaders: What is the voice of religious at the Plenary Council? What would assist the Church to hear from religious?
Participants
Leaders of Religious Institutes who are Members of the Plenary Council
Themes:
The attendees will be in small groups focusing on one Theme for the discernment process before coming together as one. Leaders may wish to choose which Theme you focus on. There will be an opportunity to comment on other Themes at the end of the main discernment process.
Thematic Focus A:
A Deeper Communion Enriched by Diversity (Participation)
Thematic Focus B:
Ecclesial Leadership and Governance
Growing as Disciples and Servants of the Gospel
Thematic Focus C:
To witness to Faith, Hope and Love as Missionary
Disciples in the World
Thematic Focus D:
To proclaim God’s new creation as people of prayer, healing and hope
(Reconciliation, compassion for the wounded, care for our common home)
