Catholic Religious of Australia join those around the world who will be praying for Queen Elizabeth’s eternal rest in peace, for her family and for all those who are grieving her death across the Commonwealth, and indeed the world.
“We echo Pope Francis’ tribute to the Queen’s steadfast witness of faith in Jesus Christ’,” said Peter Jones OSA, President of CRA.
"She was a wonderful human being as well as profoundly committed servant of her people and conscientious faith leader,” he added.
“Despite the many challenges, the Queen faced both as Head of State and the head of her family, the Queen was a connector of people, and she remained committed to her values, to her trust in God and to a life of service,” said Anne Walker, National Executive Director.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, May perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in your peace.
