CRA has written to pharmaceutical companies urging them to act for the common good by ensuring that developing nations have fair and expedient access to COVID-19 vaccines. CRA has appealed to vaccine developers to dramatically shift their practices so that vaccines can be urgently distributed to millions of suffering people in developing nations.

Over 190 Religious, friends and colleagues, came together on the 26 October 2021 to hear James speak.
Synodality and Co-Responsibility - a Catalyst for Conversation that Leads to Renewed Hearts and Minds
On 1 November 2021, Catholic Religious Australia (CRA) will launch the second online ‘conversation,’ Synodality and Co-Responsibility, as part of its series of online ‘conversations’ to explore The Light from the Southern Cross Report. Its mission is to provide an opportunity for reflection and engagement with this landmark document, at a significant time in Church history and in light of the Plenary Council.
Catholic Religious urge Australia to Commit to Culture of Peace
Whilst Prime Minister Morrison has declared that Australia is not seeking to establish nuclear weapons or establish a civil nuclear capability as a result of the recently announced nuclear submarine deal, CRA believes this declaration can only be guaranteed by the government ratifying the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. CRA has written to the PM making this appeal.
