Sr. TERESA MAYA CCVI
Sister Teresa Maya has been a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio since 1994. Her ministry has been in education.
She has passion for the formation of ministers for Hispanics/Latinos in the United States.
Sister Teresa got her B.A. at Yale University, her M.A. at the Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley and the Ph.D. in El Colegio de Mexico in Mexico City.
She served on the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) presidency from 2016-19. She is currently serving as Congregational Leader for her Congregation.
KEVIN O’NEILL SSC
Kevin grew up in Geelong, Victoria. He joined the Missionary Society of St Columban in 1984 and was ordained in 1992.
He has spent almost 30 years overseas. Ten years in Taiwan followed by six years in Ireland as a Councilor on the Columban General Council. From there he went to China for five years followed by six years in Hong Kong as Superior General.
He obtained a Masters in Theology at Catholic Theological Union, Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Direction at Yarra Theological Union, Melbourne.
Kevin returned to Australia this year and is currently a member of the Peace, Ecology and Justice Team at the Columban Mission Center in Melbourne. He hopes to return to China next year.
