‘Daring to Lead with Hope and Gratitude –
the role of Religious Life in the 21st Century.’
Dates:
Monday 29 August to Thursday 1 September 2022
Venue:
Novotel on Collins, 270 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria
Ph: (03) 9667 5800, Novotel website
Theme:
Together, we will explore what being a Religious means today, finding hope in consecrated life, and how Religious continue to be a prophetic voice in today’s changing world. The theme will also address how Religious Leaders can be supported in leading their members, in a meaningful way which brings life to their communities and reignites their commitment to Mission, as central to the living of our faith. By listening, discerning and discussing the theme, Leaders are invited into the synodal journey towards an inclusive, participatory, and evangelising Church with “One listening to the others; and all listening to the Holy Spirit” (Pope Francis 2015).
