In a culture that floods us with many images, a new prayer resource from the Columbans invites us to slow down and look deeply with a contemplative heart.
“Visio Divina is a type of prayer that uses art to help focus our minds and connect with God and can be done as a small group activity or as an individual reflection,” the Columbans say on their website.
“The new resource includes steps on practising the Visio Divina activity and the Art Guide reflections for each month's artwork, which people can use to contemplate deeper.
“The images are from our iconic Columban Art Calendar, which is celebrating its 100 years in 2022.”
