Pope Francis arrived in Papua New Guinea on September 6, under a star-studded Port Moresby sky. The streets were lined with joyful pilgrims, holding candles as they welcomed Pope Francis to their beloved country, writes CRA Acting President, Sr Philippa Murphy FDNSC.

The Presentation Sisters of Victoria have commemorated their 150th anniversary of foundation in the state, reports Melbourne Catholic. 

The Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart gathered for their annual Province Assembly earlier this month, with the occasion made especially significant, as it took place during the Congregation’s 150th Jubilee Year celebrations.

The Australian Catholic Migrant and Refugee Office has published online resources to help Catholic communities, parishes and schools mark the 110th World Day of Migrants and Refugees.  

The Second Session of the Synod on Synodality will get underway on Wednesday, October 2, and as with the previous Session, Catholics everywhere are being encouraged to join the Synod in prayer.
